Wes Dick
Managing Partner
Wes brings over 25 years of experience financing and investing in businesses that use transportation, industrial and commercial equipment to provide critical services into the economy. Before Mascarene Partners, Wes founded and was the Head of Onex Transportation Partners, a middle market, value added infrastructure investment platform focused on the transportation sector. Prior to Onex, Wes spent nearly 15 years as a Senior Vice President at BBAM LP, the world’s third largest aircraft leasing business. Wes led BBAM’s capital raising efforts and was an integral part of the senior leadership team that grew the business through the NYSE-listing of Fly Leasing Limited and the establishment of Incline Aviation, one of the world’s first private equity funds dedicated to investing in commercial aircraft on operating lease. Wes started his career at Credit Suisse in 2000 where he was involved in financing efforts across a wide range of transportation businesses with a particular focus on aircraft, railcars, vessels and containers.
Wes earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Acadia University in Canada.
Chris Danko
Vice President of Finance
Chris Danko brings over a decade of finance and operations experience across private equity, private debt, and corporate finance. Prior to Mascarene, Chris served as Vice President of Finance at Neos Partners, where he was responsible for the firm’s finance, accounting, compliance, and operations. Before his role at Neos, Chris was at StepStone Group in Operational Due Diligence, advising institutional investors and general partners across alternative asset classes. He previously worked in accounting and finance at Benefit Street Partners, a private debt firm, and began his career in corporate FP&A at Liberty Mutual.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with a minor in Accounting, from Providence College.
Rob Creighton
Partner
Rob has over 16 years of experience in private equity investment and advisory services. Most recently, he was a Managing Director at Onex Transportation Partners, where he led the sourcing, execution, and management of leveraged buyouts and structured equity investments in middle-market businesses. Prior to his role at Onex, Rob served as a Principal at Littlejohn & Co. Earlier in his career, he worked as an associate at Brantley Partners, a middle-market growth equity firm, where he supported portfolio companies and evaluated investment opportunities. Rob began his career in investment banking at UBS.
Rob holds an A.B. in Mathematics from Princeton University.
Tina Liu
Principal
Tina brings over 12 years of experience in investment and advisory services. Most recently, she served as Senior Principal at Onex Transportation Partners, where she focused on originating, executing, and managing middle-market investments. Before her role at Onex, Tina gained extensive principal investing experience through positions at Basalt Infrastructure Partners, EagleTree Capital, and Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners, where she worked across various infrastructure, industrial, and business services sectors. Tina started her career in investment banking at RBC Capital Markets.
Tina holds a B.S. in Finance and International Business from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
Charlie Legg
Principal
Charlie brings over a decade of investment experience across private equity, public equity and public debt markets spanning several industries including transportation, equipment leasing, infrastructure, energy, aviation and specialty finance. Prior to Mascarene, Charlie was a Principal at Onex Transportation Partners where his responsibilities included sourcing, executing and managing middle-market investments. Before joining Onex, Charlie held principal investing roles at Two Sigma Private Investments and Fortress Investment Group. Charlie began his career covering public equities and corporate debt at Wolfe Research and Putnam Investments.
Charlie holds a B.A. in history and economics from Bowdoin College and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
